Best Practices Conference Set For April 20, 2012! The New Jersey Council of County Colleges will hold its 2012 Best Practices Conference on Friday, April 20, 2012, at Middlesex County College. NJ Community Colleges Promote Mental Health Awareness During the first week of October, New Jersey's community colleges, in partnership with the Governor's Council on Mental Health Stigma, will hold events designed to generate awareness about mental health among community college students. Watch the Phi Theta Kappa Day Video! The New Jersey Council of County Colleges honored New Jersey's 36 best and brightest community college students and their families at its 17th annual Phi Theta Kappa Day celebration on Thursday, May 5. Community Colleges Offer EPA/HUD-Approved Building Renovation Training New Jersey's community colleges, will offer training courses to meet the federal and state requirements for contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects that may disturb lead-based paint in pre-1978 homes, child-care facilities and multi-family dwellings. Programs for the Unemployed New Jersey's 19 community colleges have announced several statewide initiatives to serve people who have lost their jobs, or are uncertain about their future employment status. |
