FROM THE NORTH VIA TURNPIKE:

  1. Take the NJ Turnpike South to Exit 7A - Route 195.
  2. Stay in the left lane when 195 becomes 129.
  3. Follow 129 to the Route 29 Tunnel.
  4. After exiting the Tunnel, you'll go through two traffic lights until Route 29 becomes a freeway.
  5. Stay in the middle lane until you have passed the exit for Market Street, then get into the right lane.
  6. After the exit for Willow Street, you'll see the back of the State House on your right.
  7. Take the next exit (Calhoun Street), at the end of the ramp, turn left on West State Street.
  8. Parking is available at 379 West State Street (next to Catholic Charities, on your left). You will enter at Building #379 and depart from Building #373 or #375. As you exit the parking lot, take a right onto West State Street. The Council office is on the left at #330 West State Street.

FROM THE SOUTH:

Route 295 North connects with 195 West to Route 129 and 29. Follow directions from #2 above.

FROM THE NORTH VIA ROUTE 1:

  1. Exit Route 1 at the sign for "Capitol Complex."
  2. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right, then left at first light (Market Street).
  3. Continue on Market Street to Route 29 North. Stay in right lane.
  4. Exit at Calhoun Street. Follow directions from #8 above.
