Submit Your Presentation Proposals for the 2017 Best Practices Conference

The New Jersey Council of County Colleges is now accepting presentation proposals for its 17th annual Best Practices Conference, which will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017, at Union County College in Cranford.

This year, all proposals are to be submitted online using the following link:

The deadline for receipt of proposals is Thursday, December 8, 2016.

As has been the practice in the past, the theme for the conference is “Student Success.”  This year we have decided to formally follow the NJCCC’s Center for Student Success’ Guided Pathways Framework as the model for proposals. As always, proposals are not limited to the Guided Pathways Framework, but proposals that target these topics will be given priority consideration.

Please note that, in addition to individual proposals, we are requesting cross-institutional panels that can share Best Practices.  Last year’s very successful conference was rich in content with such panels. Please look to your colleagues throughout the state to form panels as per our suggestion on the Call for Proposals form.

Once all of the proposals have been received, the Best Practices steering committee will evaluate and rank all proposals.  The Steering Committee will then meet in mid-January to select the program.  You will be notified by early February regarding your proposal.
