Community College Opportunity Grant Program For the Spring 2023-Fall 2023

Community College Opportunity Grants will pay the costs of tuition and approved educational fees not already covered by other available grants applied to the student’s account for New Jersey residents with an annual adjusted gross income (AGI) between $0 and $65,000. For New Jersey residents with AGIs between $65,001 and $80,000 CCOG will pay up to one-half of the maximum CCOG award available at the college. New Jersey residents with AGIs between $80,001 and $100,000 will pay up to one-third of the maximum CCOG award available at the college.

RWJBarnabas Health employees have the opportunity to participate in a grant program provided by the State of New Jersey, in which community college tuition is free to those who meet the eligibility requirements. Students must enroll in any accredited program at any one of the state’s 18 county colleges.

RWJBarnabas Health Human Resources Workforce Division will support the employee during the FAFSA application and enrollment process. Additionally, HR will provide career counseling guidance if needed.
